John Mason Global Head of Pricing & Reference Data
John Mason has recently become the Global Head of Pricing & Reference Data at Refinitiv. He was previously the Global Head Enterprise Middle and Back Office at Refinitiv. In this role, John and his team are responsible for ensuring that we are effectively addressing the industry’s regulatory challenges – of which MiFID is a particular focus area – and developing solutions across the entire product range to meet the evolving requirements of the financial market participants.
Prior to joining us, John ran the European Enterprise Solutions for Bloomberg and was also their Global Head of Regulatory Reporting. Before joining Bloomberg, he was the Chief Operating Officer for Core One Technologies prior to its sale to Markit.
Jayme Fagas Head of Valuations and Transparency Propositions
Jayme Fagas has been the Global Head of Valuations and Transparency services with our Pricing and Reference Services (PRS) business since January 2014.
Prior to this role Jayme was Global Head of Evaluated Pricing with our former Enterprise Content sector. Ms. Fagas brings us significant expertise having worked in evaluations, trading and analytics at a number of major Wall Street firms and has been a pivotal driver in transforming the evaluated pricing market.
Jayme has over 28 years’ valued experience within the global financial industry. As a member of our PRS Leadership Team, Ms. Fagas focuses on managing our evaluated pricing and transparency propositions which are delivered via our DataScope Select, the strategic data delivery platform for non-streaming content.
Ms. Fagas is an active industry participant working closely with mutual funds, hedge funds, asset managers, fund administrators and custodians, to provide solutions that meet the industry’s regulatory and compliance needs.
Lisa Marks Head of Evaluated Pricing Operations
As Head of Evaluated Pricing Operations, Lisa is responsible for leading the operations of Refinitiv Evaluated Pricing Service, an independent, global evaluated pricing source covering over 2.6 million fixed income securities, derivatives, and bank loans. Lisa’s team of 130 evaluators delivers pricing and analytics to a broad range of global customers spanning the banking and financial services industry.
Prior to her current role, Lisa had oversight for the MBS, Securitized, and Syndicated Bank Loan valuations within Thomson Reuters Pricing Service (TRPS). She joined the firm in 2009 as Head of Structured Finance and Cashflow Engineering, bringing more than 20 years of progressive experience as a finance professional with expertise in fixed income capital markets. As a specialist in securitized products, Lisa’s background encompasses valuations, structuring, modeling, deal database maintenance, and accounting.
Before joining Refinitiv/Thomson Reuters, Lisa worked as Managing Director in the Bear Stearns Financial Analytics and Structured Transactions group (subsequently JPMorgan), managing the securitized products’ modeling and analytics teams. In earlier years, she held positions at Barra, Lehman Brothers, Prudential Securities, and Drexel Burnham Lambert.
Lisa holds a BA in Banking and Finance from Hofstra University and an MBA in Finance and Management from the NYU Stern School of Business.

Karl Mackelburg Director of Fixed Income Evaluations
Karl Mackelburg is a Director of Fixed Income Evaluations at Refinitiv Evaluated Pricing Service. His team is responsible for the evaluation of US, Canadian, and LATAM government and corporate bonds, as well as over 1MM residential mortgage-backed securities.
Prior to his current role, Karl has held various global evaluation positions covering both fixed income and derivatives. Before joining Refinitiv, he worked at Interactive Data for fourteen years holding positions in fixed income evaluations and pricing and reference data sales. Karl is a graduate of St. John’s University, and holds a Masters in Finance from Fordham University.
