Innovation and the fight against financial crime:
How data and technology can turn the tide

Submit your details now to listen to this on-demand webinar, hosted by Regulation Asia and Refinitiv, where we discussed the latest challenges in the fight against financial crime, and how data and technology can provide the solution.

The UN estimates that only 1% of the $1.5 trillion in criminal funds flowing through the financial ecosystem every year are detected and dealt with. It's clear that new approaches to fighting financial crime are needed. How can data and technology turn the tide?

Refinitiv’s “Innovation & the Fight Against Financial Crime” report outlines the results of a survey that asked senior compliance professionals about the current and potential uses of emerging technologies, including AI and Machine Learning, in the fight against financial crime. The results show that while many organizations are already taking advantage of new technologies, collaboration will be key to realizing the full potential of innovation.

This webinar provides a deep dive in to:
  • why innovation is needed in the continued struggle against financial crime
  • the obstacles and blockers to innovation, including data quality and regulation
  • how the industry will harness the combined power of smarter humans and smarter machines
