Dr. Gabriele Haas, Dentons Europe LLP, Partner

 

 

Dr. Gabriele Haas is a partner at the Frankfurt office of Dentons. She is a member of the Corporate Practice Group and focuses on compliance and regulation as well as energy law.

In addition to her energy and regulatory practice, where she advises energy companies on energy law and regulatory issues as well as international economic sanctions, Gabriele supports clients from various industries in the areas of compliance and regulation. She advises on the establishment of individual compliance management systems, structural and procedural organizations as well as on the risk of fines for companies and personal criminal and civil liability. Gabriele conducts internal investigations and assists in external investigations. She advises on various compliance issues such as market manipulation and insider trading, bribery and corruptibility, money laundering and terrorism financing as well as economic sanctions. Gabriele has many years of experience in the energy industry and in the oil and gas sector.

Gabriele has extensive in-house experience in defending and settling high-profile market manipulation and antitrust cases and managing the defense against German and European governmental investigations. As former Head of Compliance or Compliance and Audit she has conducted and been responsible for numerous internal investigations. Gabriele is a member of the advisory board of the Düsseldorf Institute for Energy Law.

Andrew Henderson, Director of RDD Proposition, Refinitiv 

 

As Director of the RDD Proposition, Andrew is responsible for combining products and services to provide end to end solutions to manage the key compliance risk areas that our clients are dealing with, with a special focus on Corruption, Data Privacy and Money Laundering.
In previous consulting roles Andrew has assessed, designed, implemented and managed compliance programs for global multinational corporations across a wide range of industries and risk topics. Andrew was also heavily involved in the design and development of Refinitiv’s workflow platforms Compliance Desktop and Supplier Integrity, and retains a keen interest in using technology to support compliance. He has in-depth experience and knowledge across the telecommunications, engineering, extractives, automotive, medical and IT industries and has led projects to develop and improve the use of data and knowledge management within programs.
