John Mason, Global Head of Pricing and Reference Data, Refinitiv

John Mason has recently become the Global Head of Pricing & Reference Data at Refinitiv. He was previously the Global Head Enterprise Middle and Back Office at Refinitiv. In this role, John and his team are responsible for ensuring that we are effectively addressing the industry’s regulatory challenges – of which MiFID is a particular focus area – and developing solutions across the entire product range to meet the evolving requirements of the financial market participants.

Prior to joining us, John ran the European Enterprise Solutions for Bloomberg and was also their Global Head of Regulatory Reporting. Before joining Bloomberg, he was the Chief Operating Officer for Core One Technologies prior to its sale to Markit.

 

Michael Cluse, Director, Risk Advisory - Financial Risk, Deloitte 

 

Michael Cluse joined Deloitte Germany in 1998. As a director in Risk Advisory he is specialised in risk and regulatory consulting for financial institutions and banks, focusing on regulatory own funds requirements and risk measurement/management. 
 
Since summer 1999 Michael Cluse is concerned with the consultation and implementation processes of Basel II–IV. He has been involved in the publication of various papers and books on Basel/CRD/CRR and risk controlling.  

His main consulting topics banking regulation / supervisory requirements, Basel implementation and risk controlling (incl. sustainability).

Jacob Rank-Broadley, Director, Regulatory & Market Structure Propositions, Refinitiv

Jacob Rank-Broadley is a financial markets executive with over eight years’ experience advising financial institutions on strategic and regulatory issues. He joined Refinitiv in 2015 and is responsible for evaluating new regulatory focused business opportunities that typically have strong synergies with our existing business.

Prior to joining Refinitiv, Jacob held strategy and consulting roles at Oliver Wyman and MarketAxess. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics (Hons) from the University College London.

 

David Bull, Director OTC Content Management, Refinitiv

 

David Bull leads the Data Strategy and Management team which is responsible for OTC Asset Classes globally at Refinitiv, formerly the Financial & Risk business of Thomson Reuters.  David drives the data strategy for Fixed Income, FX and Commodities, supporting Platform and Desktop market participants across both the sell-side and buy-side. David has worked for over 15 years in data management, and has led initiatives and solutions responding to regulatory impacts on industry and market data, such as MiFID II and LIBOR Transition.
