Aurelija Balčiūnė is a Senior Associate in the Banking and Finance Practice Group. She has specialised in banking, finance (including AML & Compliance, Aviation and Aircraft Finance), M&A as well as Trademark Law for over nine years. As an in-house lawyer, she has counselled international banks and companies on AML & Compliance and other regulatory matters, M&A transactions, acquisition of debt portfolios, financing transactions and various security arrangements.

Roger Kaiser, Senior Policy Advisor, European Banking Federation

Roger Kaiser has 30 years of experience in taxation, mostly in international finance and public affairs, and in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and financial reporting. He currently represents European banks in international expert groups, public-private partnerships and coalitions. He is the author of books and numerous articles on taxation and AML and regularly speaks at international conferences and public hearings.  He is a member of the editorial team of the Revue Fiscalité des Placements.

Ntombi Ngema, Executive Head Group Sanctions Desk, The Standard Bank Group​ 

Ms. Ntombi Ngema, Executive Head Group Sanctions Desk at The Standard Bank Group has worked within compliance, AML and CTF since 2007 during which time she has occupied several roles. In her current role, she is responsible for the design, implementation and effectiveness of financial sanctions risk management programme across The Standard Bank Group. Functionally, she provides board executive management committee’s with a single holistic view of financial sanctions risk management across The Standard Bank Group.

Sylwia Wolos, Risk Solutions Consultant - Enhanced Due Diligence, Refinitiv

Sylwia Wolos is a Risk Solutions Consultant (EDD) at Refinitiv. She has over a decade of hands-on experience in public domain research and investigation, gained through establishing and managing regional operations teams. She is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS, 2012) and obtained Certificate in Anti-Bribery and Corruption Studies (CABCS, 2017). Her interest is focused on business transparency and sustainable economy.
