Andrea was appointed Group Head, Data & Analytics, in July 2021. Andrea joined LSEG on completion of the Refinitiv-LSEG transaction on 29th January 2021, having previously been Chief Customer Proposition Officer at Refinitiv.

Andrea has more than 20 years’ experience in financial services with a track record of executing high impact strategies to drive transformation. She has held senior executive roles with a strong focus on data and technology at Standard & Poor’s, Bloomberg, McGraw Hill and Dealogic.

Andrea started her career in financial services as a convertible bond salesperson at Lehman Brothers. She has an MBA in Finance from the Wharton School and BA from Duke University.

As the Managing Director for ASEAN at Refinitiv, Vernice leads the sales and account management teams across the ASEAN region and is also the Site Lead for the offices in Singapore. Her team helps financial organizations and corporate customers achieve their business objectives through Refinitiv data, analytics, trading and workflow solutions. She currently sits on the Refinitiv Asia Leadership Team, and works closely with the other business leaders to amplify the voice of the customer in Asia to global counterparts and product development teams.   

 

Having joined Reuters as client trainer in 1998, Vernice spent a large part of her career as an Account Manager, during which time she won 4 CEO Circle Awards, including 3 years as the Best Account Manager in Asia. She held several management positions within Thomson Reuters and Refinitiv before being promoted to Managing Director for ASEAN in April 2020.  

 

Vernice is an advocate of diversity and inclusion in the financial markets community. She currently sits on the Women @ ACI Singapore ExCO and has been involved in organizing events to help women progress their career into leadership roles. 

    

Outside of work, you can find Vernice on the golf course, reading non-fiction books or travelling. She is married with 2 children. 

Mikkel Larsen is the Chief Executive Officer of Climate Impact X (CIX), a global exchange and marketplace for high-quality carbon credits, based in Singapore. He led the Sustainability Working Group of the Emerging Stronger Taskforce, a public-private partnership that culminated in the formation of CIX. Mikkel is responsible for developing and executing CIX’s vision to scale the voluntary carbon market through transparency, integrity and quality – with an initial focus on catalysing the market for natural climate solutions.

Prior to his current role, Mikkel was the Group Chief Sustainability Officer and chair of the Sustainability Council at DBS Bank, the leading financial services group in Asia. At DBS, Mikkel was responsible for developing DBS’ overarching sustainability framework, setting key performance indicators and targets in consultation with the relevant stakeholders, and driving sustainability initiatives across the bank.

Mikkel is involved in numerous international and Singaporean sustainability related councils and committees. These include: the Taskforce on Scaling Voluntary Carbon Markets (TSVCM), World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and Natural Climate Solutions Alliance (NCS Alliance), World Wildlife Fund Advisory Council (Singapore), United for Wildlife Financial Taskforce, GRI Stakeholder Council, Green Finance Working Group [Workstream Chair] under the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS)’s Financial Centre Advisory Panel (FCAP), Singapore’s Environment and resources Standards Committee (ERSC) and the Global Compact Network Singapore (GCNS).

From 2009 to 2012, Mikkel acted as the Chief Financial Officer for Asia Pacific at UBS, covering Investment Banking, Wealth Management and Asset Management. He has also held management positions at Citigroup and KPMG in Europe.

Mikkel is passionate about wildlife, animal rights and nature conservation. He is a frequent speaker on sustainability related topics including green finance and voluntary carbon markets and has authored publications in these fields.

Mikkel is an adjunct professor at the Copenhagen Business School (CBS), and received his MBA from London Business School, a master’s degree in Sustainability Leadership from Cambridge University, executive education from Harvard University, along with master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Economics from CBS. Mikkel is originally from Denmark, where he also holds his CPA.

Hæge Fjellheim is Director of Carbon Research at Refinitiv, offering data and analysis on carbon markets around the world with a specific focus on the European Emission Trading Scheme (EU ETS).

The analytical offerings of the team include supply and demand balances based on in-depth proprietary models, short and long-term price forecasts, installation and offset data bases as well as extensive policy and market analysis.

She previously worked in the Point Carbon advisory department and in the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy.

Hæge holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Oslo.

Dr Felicia Shaw is currently the innovation lead at LSEG Labs. 

Based in Singapore, Neil Pabari is currently the Global Head of Focused Markets at Refinitiv.

Neil joined the firm in 2011 as an FX sales specialist from where he moved on to various roles within the firm, working in core businesses including electronic and online trading, wealth management, asset management and exchanges. Prior to his current role, Neil was the Head of Market Development, Asia and Managing Director for North Asia, Head of Market Development for the ASEAN region and had been running the MiFID II program for Thomson Reuters in Asia. 

Neil began his career working as an FX trader in London before moving to Singapore in 2001 to work as a relationship manager in private banking. In 2004 he co-founded a CFD and FX brokerage firm and was its COO until 2009 when he successfully exited the business. He has since founded, advised and invested in multiple start-up and early stage companies across various sectors including online trading, IT services, property development and leisure companies amongst others. Neil holds a BA and MA from Oxford University and is married with two sons. 

Daniel Stanton is the editor of IFR Asia and is based in Singapore. He has been with IFR Asia since 2009, during which time he has held roles including Asia bond editor and Asia equities editor.

IFR Asia has a team of reporters and editors in Tokyo, Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore and Melbourne, covering onshore and offshore capital markets transactions across Asia Pacific.

Before joining IFR, Daniel worked for other financial publications in Singapore, Dubai and London.
