Richard Peterson is CEO of MarketPsych Data which produces psychological and macroeconomic data derived from text analytics of news and social media. MarketPsych’s data is consumed by the world’s largest hedge funds, banks, and governments. Dr. Peterson is psychiatrist and an award-winning financial writer, an associate editor of the Journal of Behavioral Finance, has published widely in academia, and performed postdoctoral neuroeconomics research at Stanford University.

Franita Neuville, CFA, Research & Portfolio Management Sales Director - Refinitiv

Franita has 17 years’ experience in financial markets and heads up a team of sales professionals, focused on selling Refinitiv’s Research & Portfolio Management proposition to enable the provision of innovative technology platforms to financial institutions. Prior to joining Refinitiv (back then Thomson Reuters) in May 2016, Franita was the Head of Equity Research Sales at NOAH Capital Markets. Franita holds an M.Comm in Economics from the University of Stellenbosch and is a CFA Charterholder. Franita lives in Johannesburg, South Africa with her husband and 3 year-old son, is a self-proclaimed “foodie” and enjoys reading, traveling (substituted with stay-cations in 2020) and spending time with her loved ones.
