SPEAKERS
Otto Christian Kober
Head of Lipper Methodology, Refinitiv.
Otto started his professional career in 1995 as a financial analyst at Bopp ISB AG. This company was acquired by Reuters in 1998 and incorporated into its subsidiary Lipper. In 2001 he became Head of Research Switzerland and in 2007, now Lipper at Refinitiv, Head of Methodology. Otto is responsible for Lipper’s quantitative, fund rating and fund classification techniques. He also oversees the Fund Awards programme for Lipper at Refinitiv. Every year about 2,700 fund managers and 120 fund groups worldwide receive a prestigious recognition in this programme. Otto’s special area of expertise is global fund market intelligence especially the analysis, of investor behaviour and fund companies’ competition. After studies in law and history at the University of Zurich and business administration at the Graduate School of Business Administration, Otto graduated in 1996 with a diploma as a Bachelor of Business Administration.
Detlef Glow
Head of Lipper EMEA Research, Refinitiv.
Detlef is Head of EMEA Research at Refinitiv Lipper. He joined the firm in 2005 from FERI Wealth Management, where he was Director of Portfolio Management, managing segregated accounts for high net worth individuals (HNWI). Prior to FERI, he spent nine years with tecis Holding AG, most recently as Head of Fund Research for tecis Asset Management AG. In this role he was responsible for the quantitative and qualitative fund research for the tecis fund of funds, the HNWI accounts and the recommendation list of funds for the financial adviser arm of tecis. Detlef has an MBA focusing on Financial Services from the University of Wales/Cardiff, as well as a BA in Business Administration.
Mohammed Moussa
Investment & Advisory Sales - MENA, Refinitiv.
Mohammed currently works as a Sales Specialist at Refinitiv, covering the MENA region in the investment and advisory space. He has 14 years of experience in the investment and trading fields. Mohammed has been with Refinitiv and Thomson Reuters for the past 5 years, prior to which he worked at NBK Capital - Egypt where he operated in different roles among which he was the head of trading. He holds an MBA in Banking and Risk Management from Ecole Supérieure Libre des Sciences Commerciales Appliquéesis (ESLSCA) and a Bachelor’s degree of Business Administration from the Faculty of Commerce - Mansoura University.
