Wayne Bryan is Director of European Gas Research at Refinitiv. Wayne has a degree in finance and holds a masters from UCL in international finance. Having started his career at a major energy supplier Wayne then moved into consultancy working as a procurement analyst. His last role saw him working for Alfa Energy as a trader/market analyst, responsible for their commodities market intelligence delivery and content as well as risk managing several large gas and power portfolios . He is frequently quoted in the media as well as presenting at conferences across Europe with a focus on Natural gas and related markets.
Anne Kat is engaged in building up the Global LNG Market service on Eikon, developing market analysis and forecast. Prior to joining the Global LNG team in 2013 Anne Kat worked as Commercial Manager in the Thomson Reuters Carbon Team. Moreover, she spent 10 years working at Norsk Hydro where she held several positions; as head of Nordic and Continental power market analysis team, senior analyst within oil and gas markets and negotiator of long-term gas contracts. Prior to this, Anne Kat spent multiple years in the shipping industry and holds Master of Science in Petroleum Economics from University of Bergen, Norway
Jean-Christian Heintz is Head of LNG at Swiss utility Alpiq AG. Coming from an engineering background in the natural gas industry, he spent the last decade in the LNG sphere. From 2009 to 2012 he managed several long- and mid-term LNG contracts at GDF Suez (now Engie). In 2013 he was appointed by Lugano-based DXT Commodities to create an LNG desk from scratch. In 2017 he created his own consulting company Wideangle LNG. In 2019 he enabled SCB Brokers to step in the JKM futures market. Jean is well known on social media for his weekly “LNG espresso”, taking the pulse of the LNG market.
Laura has been analysing commodity markets since 2011 and joined Refinitiv in 2017 as Lead LNG analyst. She focuses on LNG demand and supply forecasting, pricing and LNG trade flows. Previously, Laura worked as Deputy Editor of Argus Media’s LNG Daily report, which provides global LNG spot price assessments, news, analysis and shipping coverage of the LNG market. Laura has a masters degree in Economics from the University of Exeter.
