Amy Cho

Schroder Investment Management (Hong Kong) Limited (“SIMHK”)

Amy Cho is the Chief Executive Officer of Schroders Hong Kong and the Head of Intermediary for Schroders in Asia Pacific. She is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of SIMHK. Joined Schroders in December 2018, she is responsible for the strategy and management of Schroders’ businesses in Hong Kong and the development of intermediary business across Asia Pacific.

Amy has a proven executive management track record and over 25 years of experience driving business growth in the fund management industry. Before joining Schroders, she was Managing Director and Regional Head of Business Development, APAC ex Japan, for Pictet Asset Management. Prior to that, Amy was Director of Sales & Marketing at First State Investments covering Hong Kong and the North Asian markets. Previously, she held senior positions at HSBC Asset Management and Citibank.

Amy also serves on various professional bodies of the fund management industry. She is a Board member and the Vice-chairperson of the Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Investment Funds Association (“HKIFA”). She also sits on the Steering Committee of the Asia Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (“ASIFMA”).  In advocating gender equality in the financial sector, Amy is a founding sponsor of the Bloomberg Women’s Buy-side Network (BWBN), the first women’s buy-side network of its kind in Asia.

Amy holds a BSc (Eng.) degree from the Faculty of Industrial Engineering, University of Hong Kong.

Deepak is the Performance Director for Fund Ratings and Distribution for Asia Pacific region at Refinitiv. He has been associated with Refinitiv for more than 3 Years.

 Prior to his assignment with Refinitiv, Deepak lead the sales function at Morningstar for India region, worked with Mirae Asset as ‘Head of Banking channel’ and managed the business development for CRISIL FundServices, a S&P group company.

In nutshell, Deepak has been associated with leading investment research, asset management and information services firms for over 19 years.

Robert Jenkins,
Global Head of Research – Refinitiv

Bob has over 25 years’ experience in the Financial Services and Asset Management industries having served in numerous executive and investment management roles at Fidelity in addition to time spent as a strategy consultant in the Asset Management/FIG practice of McKinsey & Company.  

Before assuming his role as the Global Head of Research at Refinitiv, Bob served and the President & CEO of Financial Research Corporation (FRC), a firm focused on providing research and consultative services to the Asset Management Industry.  

Bob’s career at Fidelity encompassed roles ranging from running a private-client, HNW trading operation to managing a fund analysis and investment research group to being a part of a portfolio management team overseeing a $100bn+ multi-asset class mutual fund. 

Xav Feng, 
Director, Lipper APAC Research Head – Refinitiv

Xav Feng oversees research in the Asia region as Refinitiv Lipper Asia Pacific Research Head. He has substantial fund industry experience across Asia countries and supports the Singapore national pension scheme of Central Provident Fund (CPF) project.

Xav also participates in-depth research of Hong Kong Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes (MPF) and Taiwan Labor pension systems. He covers Greater China region since 2007 and initiated China QFII & QDII fund research, China risk classification rating research and Asia alternative investments.

In addition to this, Xav, is the media spokesman in Asia region and having been interviewed on research and investment management topics by cross region leading TV, broadcast channels and newspaper publications. He is a law graduate from the Taiwan National Taipei University and has a MBA degree in Risk Management and Insurance from Taiwan National Chengchi University. He also holds securities, futures/derivatives specialist and property insurance broker licenses in Taiwan.
