Pietro Calandra,  Pricing & Reference Services Sales Director, Refinitiv

Pietro is based in London and is currently heading up sales for Refinitiv's Pricing & Reference Services business in the UKI. He has been with Refinitiv for over 9 years and has held senior positions across business functions including Product, Strategy and Business Development. Pietro has vast experience in helping clients across EMEA navigate data challenges posed by regulations and is constantly exploring how to best leverage technology to drive added value data insights. Pietro holds a Bachelors in Management and a Masters in Strategy and Innovation. 

Jo Salkeld, SFTR Product Manager, MarketAxess

Jo Salkeld is the Product Manager for MarketAxess’ Securities Financing Transaction Regulation (SFTR) solutions.  She joined in February 2019 to help build the SFTR reporting tool and UTI Portal. Prior to joining MarketAxess, she spent 5 years at NatWest Markets as a Business Analyst / Project Manager in the Regulatory Reporting Change team, implementing new regulations, regulatory changes and performing remediation for EMIR, Dodd Frank, MAS and MiFID II regimes. It was here that Jo helped with outsourcing some of the regulatory operations to vendors. Jo previously worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Global FX Derivatives operations team, specifically in nostro investigations and at BNY Mellon where she started her career in Income and Tax, reconciling portfolios in the GB and Irish markets. 

Simon Davies, Business Development, Pirum Systems

Simon Davies joined the business development team at Pirum Systems, following a 20 year career in investment banking and consultancy.  His expertise in securities finance and collateral management includes both front and back office management positions in firms such as Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Bank, and consultancy experience helping organisations implement business and regulatory driven change.  A graduate of Durham University and Cass Business School, Simon has researched and written extensively on the challenges our industry faces and how to deal with them and has worked with many organisations including both global and regional banks, asset managers, trade repositories, CCPs, accounting firms and business start-ups on how to create and deliver value for their clients and manage and deliver change within their organisation to support this.  

Joelle Kenaan, Regulation Lead, Fixed Income Specialist, Refinitiv

Joelle has been with Refinitiv since 2006. 
She first worked in the Equity content team between 2006-2009 then managed the Fixed Income reference content.
Joelle was involved in the build and deployment of MIFID. 
Within Refinitiv Joelle manages the Regulation operations, she leads a number of Regulatory frameworks such as MIFID, SFTR, FRTB.
Joelle holds a BSc in Economics and an Executive Education Diploma in Securities and Derivatives from Henley Business School, University of Reading.
