Find out who is picked to be positive and negative predicted surprises

The StarMine team has selected five European companies, using Eikon by Refinitiv, that we expect to miss, and five we expect to beat, FY20 earnings estimates, based on SmartEstimate® and Predicted Surprise data.

Our European selections for FY19 were 100% accurate.

We hosted a complimentary webinar to explore the following topics:
  • Which companies are expected to beat & miss FY20 earnings estimates?
  • How can you use StarMine in your investment decisions?
  • Where to find and apply the SmartEstimates® to investors’ workflows within Eikon
  • How to create your own forecast and beat us to the punch

SmartEstimates® aim to provide earnings forecasts that are more accurate than I/B/E/S Consensus Estimates, by putting more weight on the recent forecasts of top-rated analysts.
When SmartEstimates® diverge significantly from Consensus, you can anticipate the occurrence of earnings surprises with an accuracy rate of 70%. Revenue SmartEstimates® are even more predictive of surprises, with a historical accuracy rate of 78%.
