Shuya Li is an energy fundamental analyst with seven years of gas and power modeling and forecast experience. She specializes in North American natural gas market regional supply, demand and flow fundamentals as well as basis differentials. Shuya joined the gas research team at Refinitiv in August 2019. She authors the North America Natural Gas End of Season Outlook monthly series and develops new gas market research content on Refinitiv Eikon. She also contributes to various research analysis including upstream E&P, pipeline infrastructure, end-user projects and cross-commodity commentary. In her previous role as Senior Analyst of Global Gas Planning at S&P Global Platts (PIRA Energy Group), she has conducted natural gas fundamental analysis, quantitative modeling and strategic scenario planning study. Shuya holds an M.S. in Industrial Engineering from Rutgers University and she received an undergraduate degree from Tongji University.
Leticia Gonzales joined the NGI staff as a markets contributor in October 2014. Prior to joining NGI, Leticia spent nine years at Platts, covering both daily and forwards markets for natural gas and electricity. During her time there, she was a regular on the speaking circuit as well on Platts Energy Week TV. Leticia holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of Houston.
David is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder majoring in Molecular Biology and Biomedical Sciences. After a 24 year career in Houston as a Senior Trader he is currently assisting clients for Natural Gas Intelligence with their Natural Gas Data and Industry wide news and information needs. Highlights of David's trading career include Vice President and Desk Head of West, Gulf, and Northeast Trading for TXU Energy Services, Vice President and Desk Head of West and Canada Natural Gas Trading for Koch Energy Services and Merrill Lynch Global Commodities, Managing Director for West Natural Gas Trading at Fortis Bank, Senior Trader for Rockies and Mid-Con Trading at NextEra Energy, Director and Desk Head of NE and Mid-con trading at GDF Suez, and Portfolio Manager at various Hedge funds. David mostly traded financial basis and specialized in regional fundamental analysis to frame up his trades.
