Xav Feng oversees research in the Asia region as Refinitiv Lipper Asia Pacific Research Head. He has substantial fund industry experience across Asia countries and supports the Singapore national pension scheme of Central Provident Fund (CPF) project.

Xav also participates in-depth research of Hong Kong Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes (MPF) and Taiwan Labor pension systems. He covers Greater China region since 2007 and initiated China QFII & QDII fund research, China risk classification rating research and Asia alternative investments.

In addition to this, Xav, is the media spokesman in Asia region and having been interviewed on research and investment management topics by cross region leading TV, broadcast channels and newspaper publications. He is a law graduate from the Taiwan National Taipei University and has a MBA degree in Risk Management and Insurance from Taiwan National Chengchi University. He also holds securities, futures/derivatives specialist and property insurance broker licenses in Taiwan.

Wong Yew Joe is the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) of AmFunds Management Berhad overseeing investments in the firm.

He has more than 20 years of experience in financial services and funds management. Over this tenure, his roles covered investment analysis, trading and portfolio management. He also played a key role in product development, business development and managing client relationships.  

Yew Joe first joined the Funds Management Division in 2006 as a fund manager. His last post was the Head of Fixed Income reporting to the Chief Investment Officer and oversaw investments in Islamic fixed income instruments and other related instruments. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. He also holds a Capital Markets Services Representative’s License for the regulated activity of fund management.

Christopher joined Kenanga Investors Berhad in January 2014 as a Portfolio Manager, and currently has more than 12 years of experience in financial markets. His responsibilities include portfolio management, asset allocation as well maintaining research coverage on selected market & sectors.

Previously, he was with Meridian Asset Management where he was also involved in managing local and regional portfolios.

He began his career with AmInvestment Bank in the Equity Capital Markets department where he worked on numerous deals including initial public offerings (IPOs), follow-on equity offerings, secondary placements and underwriting risk assessments.

He graduated from Monash University, Australia with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance). He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder and a holder of a Capital Markets Services Representative’s License.

 

Deepak has been in leading investment research, asset management and information services firms for 20 years.

He is currently the Proposition Sales Director for Sustainable Finance & Lipper for the Asia Pacific region at Refinitiv, His previous role was Performance Director, Fund Ratings and Distribution for Asia Pacific, and he has been with Refinitiv for over 3 years.

Prior to joining Refinitiv, Deepak led the sales function at Morningstar for India region, worked with Mirae Asset as ‘Head of Banking channel’ and managed the business development for CRISIL FundServices, a S&P group company.
