Lenny Rodriguez is the Team Leader for Products Arbitrage and Latin American Oil Analytics for S&P Global Platts, where he is responsible for the development of product trade flow outlooks, regional supply/demand balances, price forecasting and fundamental analysis. He authors the monthly Latin American Market Report and is a contributor to a number of other publications. Before joining us through our acquisition of PIRA, Lenny spent nine years with Chevron as a products and biofuels Trader and as a Sr. Strategy Analyst in the company’s downstream division. He began his career at P.M.I. Comercio Internacional, where he held scheduling and commercial roles involving refined products, crude oil and petrochemicals. In addition to his work experience, he holds a B.A. in International Relations from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) and a MSc. in International Trade and Transport from the London Metropolitan University in the U.K.
Corey Stewart is a Senior Energy Analyst on Refinitiv’s Houston Oils Research Team, where he analyzes nascent trends in the Western Hemisphere's crude oil and refined products markets. He is the Co-Creator and Co-Host of Refinitiv’s popular podcast, The Rundown Tank: Americas Oil. Prior to joining Refinitiv earlier this year, Corey worked on Valero Energy Corporation’s Strategic Planning and Market Analysis team. There he engaged in fundamental and technical market analysis, and regularly consulted to C-level executives and other senior leaders.
Jim Mitchell is a commodity market expert who partners with Energy Companies and participants to refine their understanding of the linkages within markets. With over 26 years working in every aspect of the industry, Jim has a passion and proven track record in the intricacies of the physical, financial and non-linear trading arena. This experience creates the versatility and innovation to translate complex subject matter into actionable processes. Jim knows that to create enlightened strategies, one must first be enlightened. Jim is a graduate from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Financial Economics.
Annette Smith is a Senior Oil Analyst at Refinitiv with over 15 years of market research and analysis experience in the oil industry. She's been with Refinitiv for 4 years where she analyzes imports and exports of crude oil in the Americas. Prior to joining Refinitiv, she was the Lead Analyst at IHS Markit and Purvin & Gertz where she produced the long-term supply/demand strategic outlook that covered over 200 countries and regions. Annette has a master’s degree in international business and International Studies from the University of St. Thomas.
