[Webinar] Trends in M&A and Capital Raising

This webinar was held on Thursday, October 16 at 10:00AM ET.
The recording and slides are now available on demand.

After a bleak first quarter for deal making, the question was whether the seven-year bull run would end gradually or with a shock. Deal making fell 12 percent in the first half of 2019 compared with H1 2018. However, the April-to-June period, led mostly by the US equity and M&A markets, including the market debuts of Lyft and Uber saw something of a revival. Meanwhile, debt capital markets (DCM) experienced a tougher Q2, despite a positive contribution from the tech sector following activity by IBM, Broadcom and Tencent.

In this recent webinar, Matt Toole, Director of Deals Intelligence, Refinitiv and Peter Thal Larsen, EMEA Editor, Reuters Breakingviews, gave a deep dive of the M&A and Capital Raising landscape in Q3, ins and outs of global deal making so far this year and a forward looking view into what is yet to come as we approach 2020.
