Charlotte de Montpellier - Economist, ING Belgium, Economic Research


Charlotte de Montpellier is an economist at ING, within the Eurozone team of the Research department. Based in Brussels, she is the senior economist in charge of macroeconomic monitoring and forecasting for the French and Swiss economy for ING.  Prior to joining ING, she worked in the Economic Department and was a research and teaching assistant at the University Catholic of Louvain (Belgium).

Ronald Indergand - Head of Short Time Economic Analyses at the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs

Ronald Indergand is Head of Short Time Economic Analyses at the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs. His team is in charge of the calculation of quarterly GDP, the consumer sentiment survey and the economic forecasts of the confederation. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Bern.

Daniel Kalt - Chief Economist and Chief Investment Officer Switzerland at UBS Switzerland AG

Daniel Kalt received his PhD in economics from the University of Bern in 2000. Prior to that, he obtained his licentiate in economics at the University of Zurich in 1996 and completed the "Program for Beginning Doctoral Students" at the Swiss National Bank's Gerzensee Study Centre in 1997. He joined the research department of UBS in 1997 as an economist for the Swiss economy, where he subsequently held various management positions. In 2010 Daniel Kalt was appointed Chief Economist Switzerland at UBS. In this function, he is responsible for all research products for UBS Switzerland, appears as a speaker at numerous client events and advises the management on economic policy issues. Since 2012, Daniel Kalt has also held the position of Regional Chief Investment Officer Switzerland

Daniel Lampart - First Secretary and Chief Economist of SWISS TRADE UNION CONFEDERATION SGB

Daniel Lampart  joined the SGB in 2006 and has been its Chief Economist since 2007. In 2011 he became head of the SGB secretariat. Prior to this, he was a research assistant at the Swiss Institute for Business Cycle Research (KOF) at ETH Zurich. He graduated from the University of Zurich with a degree in Philosophy, German Studies and Economic History. After studying economics at the University of St. Gallen, he received his doctorate (Dr. phil.I) in 2006 from the University of Zurich. Daniel Lampart represents the SGB on the Compenswiss Board of Directors, the SUVA Council and other extra-parliamentary commissions of the swiss Confederation.

Rob Cox helped found Breakingviews.com in 2000 in London. From 2004 he spearheaded the startup publication's expansion in the United States and edited daily Breakingviews columns in the New York Times and the Wall Street Journal. Rob, now based in Zurich, has worked as a journalist in London, Paris, Milan, New York, Chicago and Tokyo. Rob was named Global Editor of Breakingviews in December 2012, three years after it was acquired by Thomson Reuters and became the financial commentary arm of one of the largest news organizations in the world. Rob frequently appears on Monocle Radio and CNBC and his columns have appeared in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, BuzzFeed, USA Today, the Globe and Mail, la Repubblica and other publications. Prior to co-founding Breakingviews, Rob worked as European finance editor, South Europe bureau chief, and as a Wall Street reporter at Bloomberg News. Rob graduated from Columbia University's Journalism School and the University of Vermont, which gave him its Alumni Achievement Award in 2014 for his work on gun violence prevention. After the shooting in 2012 at Sandy Hook Elementary School in his hometown of Newtown, Connecticut, Rob co-founded Sandy Hook Promise with fellow members of the community and some of the victims' families. In his spare time, Rob plays ice hockey, runs slowly and skis aggressively.
