Joel Brandon is a sales leader who's been in the GRC space for over fifteen years, helping many of the world's leading financial services organisations and global corporates to navigate the complexities of risk management, particularly in the areas of due diligence, third party risk, financial crime compliance, privacy & cybersecurity risk management, and credit risk. Joel's passion is getting into the weeds with his customers, understanding their current state, processes and challenges in detail and sharing the journey with them to successful long-term outcomes.

Tatiana Duran is an attorney-at-law with 20+ years of experience providing counsel to enterprise clients in the industries of energy, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and tech. Since 2021 Tatiana has worked for ABB as a Senior Legal Counsel, Anticorruption/Anti-Bribery and Human Rights. Her primary expertise is corporate integrity/compliance programs, their building, enhancement and implementation at the global level that ensure compliance with corporate and government regulations. Prior to ABB, Tatiana worked for Weatherford for nine years in various legal and compliance positions, including as a Global Ethics Compliance Counsel. She also has six years of experience as a Senior Associate with international law firm Noerr and about 3 years as a Senior legal advisor and Region Compliance Officer at Siemens Ukraine. 

Dr Erica Moret is an expert on sanctions and humanitarian affairs. She is Senior Researcher at the Global Governance Centre and the Centre for Humanitarian Studies at the Graduate Institute and coordinates the Geneva International Sanctions Network (GISN). She is Associate Editor of the Journal of Global Security Studies and Visiting Professor at Sciences-Po’s Paris School of International Affairs. She serves as an independent expert on sanctions and humanitarian affairs for the UN, EU and humanitarian organisations and has provided advice to the Biden Administration and both UK Houses of Parliament on sanctions-related matters.

Vincent Denonville is the founder and managing partner of Konfidens Consulting, a compliance consulting firm focused on practical compliance solutions (Switzerland, www.konfidens.ch). Trained as a lawyer, he offers extensive experience and expertise in leading and providing management of compliance and ethics programs, ensuring adherence to legislative requirements in highly regulated industries, and acting on behalf of high-profile organizations operating globally. Serves as a trusted business partner, embedding a compliance culture through applying a whole-business approach in the design and delivery of governance and third-party risk frameworks and supporting policies.

Vincent held senior legal and compliance roles in reputable international banking institutions, in an international sports federation, and with multinational corporations. He can offer third-party risk management insight from each of those perspectives.

Holger Nickisch is a Director of Product Management within LSEG’s Customer and Third-Party Risk business.  He has over 20 years of experience building, selling, implementing, and managing enterprise software solutions, almost 10 of those helping develop practical solutions for Customer and Third-Party Risk Management programs.  Holger’s current focus is working with clients to develop efficient and effective Third-Party Onboarding workflow tools, enhancing LSEG's risk screening data tools, and creating practical and effective Enhanced Due-Diligence Reports and streamlined delivery systems.

Tom Ivell is a Partner in Oliver Wyman’s Risk practice, where he specialises in management and measurement of non-financial risks.

Tom has worked on non-financial risk across industries, including energy, automotive, manufacturing, banking, market infrastructure, insurance and asset management. He brings deep expertise in a broad set of specialist disciplines such as cyber and technology risk, third-party risk, data protection and business continuity.

His most recent engagements include:

•Establishing the compliance function at a regional energy firm

•Enhancing the operational risk management process at an energy trading business

•Enhancing the supply chain resilience at a global chemicals manufacturer

•Supporting a regional universal bank in implementing a data-driven NFR marketplace

•Supporting a global G-SIFI to develop and implement its data-led ORM vision

•Developed a data-driven ORM framework for a digital greenfield business

•Developed a digital risk and control operating model for a regional universal bank

Tom is a regular speaker at conferences and training events hosted by banks, industry associations and regulators. He was a lecturer for the Certified Risk Manager course and member of the operational risk working group at a European banking regulator.

He recently authored the ORX reference taxonomy which aims to promote a common language for non-financial risk globally.

Tom holds a Master’s of Engineering from Oxford University and works in English and German.
