ELAINE KHOO

Elaine Khoo is a certified Finance, Internal Audit and Compliance professional based in Singapore. She is currently working as Director, Regional Compliance at Zuellig Pharma overseeing the overall Compliance function across 22 business units in 13 countries which includes businesses such as Distribution, Commercial,  Payor services, Patientcare and Clinical reach.

Elaine started out as an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers and subsequently moved to Finance and Internal Audit positions in Cisco Systems and Microsoft. As a Compliance professional, Elaine’s strength is in setting up new Compliance functions to drive effective Compliance programs across Asia in MNCs like Audi, DKSH, Mead Johnson Nutrition, Marriott and now Zuellig Pharma.

Being a strong believer in technology, Elaine focuses on using data analytics and automation to prevent and detect Compliance risks.

Elaine holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from University of New South Wales and is a CPA(Australia), CA(Singapore), CIA and CCEP-I.

Shuhui has had a varied career of more than 15 years, commencing as a private practice lawyer focusing on corporate commercial work and mergers & acquisitions, and as in-house counsel for Singapore and Japanese MNCs. She is currently the head of legal for the South Asia Pacific business for Carrier Global Corporation, a leading global provider of heating, air-conditioning and refrigeration solutions.

Maree is the General Counsel, Asia Pacific for Aquila Capital. She has broad transactional experience in corporate and financing transactions, with a focus on renewable energy and infrastructure projects. 
 
In 2018 Maree was honoured to win the “General Commercial” award the Global Counsel Awards at an event in New York and was included in ALB’s In-house Counsel “40 Under 40” List for Asia Pacific.  Maree has lived and worked in Singapore for 14 years (originally from Australia).  Before moving to an in-house role, Maree was a senior associate at Latham & Watkins in Singapore.  She is a board member of the Association of Corporate Counsel in Singapore.
